Coach Audrey Taylor serves as Co-Director of Millennium Ballers, LLC and Owner/Coach of the women's semi-professional team, Jersey Fusion. She was the floor general, noted for her tenacity, during the 1998-2000 timeframe at Division I Monmouth University in West Long Branch, NJ. Known for precision passing in the post, stellar speed and uncommon quickness from baseline to baseline, she offered the “total package” to include being a threat from beyond the arc. Also known for fearless penetration, she led an up-tempo style for the Hawks as they competed in the Northeast Conference (NEC). Besides all of the above, she was also the team’s best rebounder from a backcourt position. Audrey was the Hawk’s best all-around player finishing second on the team in scoring, fourth in rebounding and led the team in assists.

Prior to her stellar collegiate career, Audrey had an outstanding scholastic career at South River High School during the 1992-1996 timeframe. She averaged 25 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists per game as a senior and led South River to a state championship as a sophomore and advanced to the championship game in her final two years. She finished her career as the school's all-time leading scorer with 1,369 points and was a three-time All-County and All-Conference selection by the Newark Star-Ledger and The Home News and Tribune. Finally, she was named the team’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) during her MVP her sophomore, junior and senior years.

Coach Taylor is currently the coach/owner of the women's semi-pro team, Jersey Fusion as well as in her 7th year coaching high school basketball. Proceeding her 4 years as the assistant coach of the Cardinal McCarrick Lady Eagles and took part of the amazing journey of the 2007–2008 season to become Middlesex County Champions, she coached along side Kim Kenny at Abraham Clark in Roselle, NJ. Prior to coaching high school Coach Taylor spent time as an assistant coach at Monmouth University and coaching and training youth at recreational facilities in the state of Virginia.

Rodney Harris
Co-Director/Co-Owner

Coach Rodney Harris serves as Co-Director of Millennium Ballers, LLC and his basketball resume includes garnering 4 Varsity Letters while playing for stellar South River Ram teams at his Alma Mater during the 1983-1987 seasons. He was recognized as the top point guard in the area during his sophomore, junior and senior campaign as he quarterbacked the Rams to successful seasons. Known as a great ball distributor, Rodney also knew when to take the game into his hands as he was one of the Top Scorers in Middlesex County during his final season with a 20 plus point average. Bear in mind that this was pre- 3 point arc days ! His individual performance resulted in an All Area Team selection for his senior year .

Rodney has 10 formal years of youth basketball coaching experience and has achieved an outstanding record of 147-18. Despite serving full time with the 108 th Air Refueling Wing at McGuire Air Force Base, NJ, for the past 13 years, he still finds the time to shape the future of our youth via his travels throughout the state to compete in games, conduct practices, and top level clinics

Jamule Collins
Lead Instructor

Coach Jamule Collins serves as Lead Instructor of Millennium Ballers, LLC and his basketball career commenced as a integral part of the Varsity squad at sports centered South River High School. His pivotal play was an integral part in the team’s success as they realized back to back championships in the 1989-1990 and 1990-1991 seasons. Although the consummate team player, Jamule realized some personal accolades such as becoming one of the top 3-point shooters in South River High School history.

Coach Collins has provided precision basketball training for over 7 years, beginning with his son who is recognized one of the top 11 year old players in all of New Jersey. Jamule is currently the Head Coach of the St. Mary of Ostrbrama Catholic Youth Organization’s (CYO’s) 5 th and 6 th Grade Boy’s Basketball Team that recently completed a 50-4 season to include championships in all 3 leagues that they play in as well as several tournament championships. He was also an Assistant Coach of the #1 Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) 10 year old team in the State, the Jersey Shore Fliers. He spends countless hours traveling throughout New Jersey for basketball games, practices, and his effective clinics at both the one-on-one and multiple participant level. All told, Jamule has 20 years of hands on basketball knowledge. His overall understanding of the game is impeccable. This, coupled with his patience, makes him the standard by which other instructors are measured.

Mars Mellish
Trainer/Coach Mellish

Mars Mellish is Millennium Ballers' specialist with instructing high school age players. A Division 1 standout at Manhattan College where he made the conference All Rookie Team and was the Team Defensive Player of the Year, Mars continued his playing career at NJIT, earning First Team All Conference accolades.

In addition to serving the youth of his neighborhood through instruction (highlighted in a recent publication), Mars uses his college degree to serve as an accountant within the New Brunswick school system and coaches basketball there as well. What is special about Mars and the insight that he can pass onto his instructees is that he remains an active player, participating with fellow former Division 1 standouts in the highly competitive Millennium Ballers sponsored Adult League, which is fast becoming one of the premier leagues in Central Jersey.

Tomora Young

Tomora Young was raised in Red Bank, NJ.  She became a prolific basketball player through the Red Bank Borough School systems.  She was named to all shore, all county, and all state honors through her High School Career at Red Bank Regional High School (1991-1995).  She also took home Player of the Year honors her Junior and Senior seasons.  Tomora helped lead her teams to back to back to back divisional championships.  She also helped to expand the seasons in the State tournament all 4 years of her career.  Tomora is 3rd all time in Red Bank Regional Scoring History with 1,582 points.  Upon graduating from Red Bank Regional High School, Tomora received a full scholarship to Rutgers University.

Under the guidance of Coach C. Vivian Stringer, Tomora had a great career at Rutgers University. Tomora Young (1995-99) helped lead the Scarlet Knights to back-to-back NCAA Tournament berths, including a showing in the Elite Eight in 1999 and the Sweet Sixteen in 1998. The Red Bank, N.J. native was named All-BIG EAST three-straight years, earning first team honors following her junior season. In addition, Young was selected BIG EAST all-tournament in 1998 and also named the Co-Player of the Year by the Metropolitan Writer's Association. A 5-10 guard, Young was one of the most efficient three-point shooters to wear the Scarlet. She is second all-time in three-point field goals made (180) and attempted (513) and also graces the record book in three-point field goal percentage (.351), placing her sixth on the all-time chart.

Young sits atop the single season record list in three categories, all achieved during the 1997-98 season. She is ranked first in three-point field goals made (71) and three-point field goal attempts (186) in a single campaign. Young also holds the RU record for most proficient showing from the free throw line in a single season with a .901 average (64-for-71).

In the past couple of years, Tomora has gone back to Red Bank to coach her alma mater Buccaneers Girls Basketball team.  She is the Head Junior Varsity Coach and Assistant Varsity Coach.   In her spare time, she is also involved with Coaching AAU basketball.  Tomora’s love for the game has her also personal training athlete’s.

Coach Cassidy
Trainer/Coach Cassidy

Coach Cassidy has a love and passion for the game of Basketball. Being around basketball since the 3rd grade he has been through all aspects of the game. He was a 2,000 point scorer in CYO at St. Stans in Sayreville, a three year letter winner at Sayreville War Memorial High School where he became a defensive stopper, and then he was a floor general playing the point on his AAU team the Jersey Renegades that played up and down the East Coast.

He has been involved in coaching high school basketball at South River High School for the past 4 years. In 2009-2010 he served in his 1st year as the HEAD Junior Varsity Coach recording a 14-7 record. Coach Cassidy focuses on the fundamentals and stresses playing the game with a lot of heart and discipline.
Besides his commitment to basketball, Coach Cassidy is a 4 year veteran of the East Brunswick Police Department.
